Zbog naglog udara vjetra padobranac i barka krenuli su prema obali punoj kupača što je završilo kobno za letača padobranca. On se naime prizemljio među goste terase i kamenu obalu plaže Polidor Funtana gdje je zadobio višestruke ozljede.
